Accomodations

Join us at the luxurious Rittenhouse Hotel located on Rittenhouse Square in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, one of the city’s most upscale areas. The hotel is located within walking distance of several historical, cultural, shopping and entertainment destinations and was recognized as one of the best places to stay in the world by Conde Nast Traveler Gold List (2007).

Seabrook House has reserved most all of the 90 rooms, all of which are single occupancy with plush queen and king sized beds. Rooms are complimentary for full AIS members and extremely discounted to AIS candidates at $120 per night.

AIS candidates’ rooms are extremely discounted at $120 per night. Credit card should be provided at check-in to cover incidentals or additional services, such as room service, parking, etc.

Important: Hotel arrangements /payments must be made through Christie Panasevich at Seabrook House NOT the Rittenhouse Hotel directly.

Please note if you are arranging other lodging, you are still responsible for registering for the AIS Conference. The registration deadline for the conference is April 11, 2008.

As in the past AIS Board members will be checking in one day prior to the rest of the attendees.

Also note that the deadline to register is a firm date and that Seabrook House has set aside the maximum amount of rooms we were able to for AIS. We are expecting a large turnout and may not be able to accommodate everyone at this special rate. Seabrook House is happy to accommodate full AIS members free of charge from Thursday, May 1, to Sunday, May 4 (check out). Likewise for Candidate members at the extremely discounted rate of $120 per night from May 1 – May 4 (check out). If you plan to come a day early or stay late, you are responsible for making the reservation and covering the cost independently.

Weekend appointments at the Adolf Biecker Spa and Salon in the Rittenhouse Hotel tend to fill quickly on weekends. If this interests you, we encourage you to book services as early as possible by visiting their website or calling them directly at 215-735-6404
